Painting #20, #21 and #22: "Thirty Paintings in Thirty Days" Challenge

I am taking part in Leslie Saeta’s “ Thirty Paintings in Thirty Days Challenge”.

I have chosen the NEW YORK SCHOOL as my theme. I am working on paintings based on a quote of one of its member artists, not their technique.  CLICK HERE to learn more about it.

I've gotten a bit behind in my sharing so I am doing a few together:

Painting #20, "Chaotic Hope":

"The attitude that nature is chaotic and that the artist puts order into it is a very absurd point of view, I think. All that we can hope for is to put some order into ourselves    "
                                   - Willem de Kooning

Painting #21,"Sun Spots":

NOT FOR SALE - Gifted

"Energy and motion made visible – memories arrested in space."
                      - Jackson Pollack

Painting #22, "A Verb, Not a Noun":

"A painting to me is primarily a verb,
not a noun, an event first
and only secondarily an image."

                        - Elaine de Kooning

These pieces are available for purchase in my Etsy shop - SGTurner Art
